Other interesting things about Sophie:
Sophie became interested in drumming through her father and older brother who both play the Bagpipes. She was initially taught the chanter at a young age with my younger brother but failed to continue. At her previous band she also learned beatings for the snare drum, but was also taught how to swing and simple beatings on the tenor, which she continues to play.
